Melo Candle Lab Candle creates candles that are vegan-friendly, cruelty-free, paraffin-free, and phthalate-free. We only use 100% soy wax from soybeans that are grown in the USA. Our packaging is biodegradable, sustainable, and can be recycled. A small portion of every purchase contributes to a selected non-profit organization helping communities around the world.

Candles are made from soy and coconut wax. Our wax is made from eco- friendly, renewable resources. Soy candles burn slower than paraffin wax, meaning you get a candle that lasts longer. While all candles emit some black soot when burning, our candles burn cleaner and produce less soot.

Melo Candle Lab uses all-cotton wicks, as they are self-trimming and contain no zinc, as many other candle wicks do. Cotton also burns cleaner and produces less soot or smoke.

Keeping your wick properly trimmed will save you money by making your candle last longer and preventing it from mushrooming and smoking. Trim your wick between 1/8 and 1/4 inch long before you light your candle.
